We want to share stories, best practices, and experiences from across the sectors involved in building a low carbon and just economy for BC. Please help us find the right people and projects that capture the growing energy and excitement of green jobs development in our province.
Background:
GreenJobs BC works to bring BC’s environmental and labour sectors together to build a BC economy that lowers GHG emissions, creates good green jobs, and helps mitigate the results of climate change. Our next conference will invite a broad base of stakeholders together to learn from inspiring local and regional case studies, hear and discuss the draft policy recommendations for the GreenJobs BC Green Jobs Plan with experts in each sector, and develop the relationships and momentum required to see a Green Jobs Plan adopted for our province. This conference will build on our foundation of collaboration and catalyze action.
Present a Case Study or Workshop at the Conference:
We invite organizations, unions, businesses, government, educational institutions, and collaboratives to share their stories, skills, perspectives, and resources in developing a BC economy that lowers GHG emissions and creates good green jobs. Presentation time allowance is 45 minutes.
How to Make a Submission:
Please use our online form to submit your Case Study or workshop proposal. Please describe your idea concisely and accurately.
Speakers attending the conference will have their delegate fees waived. If additional fees are required, please indicate your remuneration expectations in the application.
Case Study presentations cannot be used to market products or services.
